Calves Training Series
Calve Training Series
Welcome the the Trident Fitness
Calf Training Series
In Africa their exists a tribe known as the Massai or Adamu, this tribe is mostly unknown and very unique, a tradition of in their culture, calf training which results in the ability to spring themselves higher than NBA players into the air, with minimal effort from the legs, using a range of motion which is about 1/5th of a full squat movement .
NBA Players who are known for being some of the tallest athletes on earth, fail to match the height the Adamu can reach with such ease.
The Adamu tribe have no cable machines, or weighted standing calf machines like most modern gyms, but they...
Outpace & Outmatch...
nearly all athletes worldwide in the realm of jumping with their unique abilities.
If this jump height can be achieved, and we can evidently see it on videos of youtube, a few questions should be asked...
1.Why is no-one talking about this?
2. How do they train to achieve this?
With no access to "cutting edge" science & research, modern training methods, and gym equipment, not to mention the endless supplements offered in the modern, how do they achieve this explosive power, to be able to spring up to heights of over a metre with seemingly minimal movement & effort...
With no access to "cutting edge" science & research, modern training methods, and gym equipment, not to mention the endless supplements offered in the modern, how do they achieve this explosive power, to be able to spring up to heights of over a metre with seemingly minimal movement & effort...
The Reason is simple.
You dont need any of the above to get there!
There are 2
elements to achieving this jump height
This course covers the first part, offering a full 10 step program to build the foundations to get there, with only the most effective calve exercises calisthenics can offer an athlete...
With nothing else needed,
as always just you.
Any boxer will tell you...
The twisting of the hip, leg and calf, is important to to packing a powerful punch, the calves play a crucial role here...
If a boxer strengthens the calves he strengthens his strikes, by proxy...
The world record for the highest standing jump...
is 67 Inches.
Thats almost 5.6 feet
or 1.7 meters.
Using his maximum power Chris Spell broke his own previous record of 65 Inches.
Whilst the highest recorded Adamu jump height is 20 inches.
This is 1.66 foot
Or
0.5 Metres.
But...
By barely bending the knees...
or moving the legs much...
A half meter of height is achieved.
Compared to a maximum range of motion jump by legendary record jump holder Chris Spell.
How high would Chris be able to get if he used the training methods of the Adamu tribes,
to maximise his legs using Tribal methods?
Likewise, how high would the Adamu tribe members get if they used the full range of motion.
The Adamu dont have big chunky slabs of calve muscles like cyclists or even bodybuilders, their legs are actually quite slender...
Because more muscle, does not mean,
more manoeuvrability or power...
Beyond the bounds of modern gym calve training, lies a whole other realm of exercises, unlimited by the weight housed in a machine...
Limited only by the spirit of an athlete using the weight housed in the body.
When athletes from modern gym culture see these calve exercises they automatically thnk about adding more weights...
This preconcieved concept, that added weight equals more strength, is an idea which is mainly useful for muscle building only.
With calisthenics training we make the exercises harder, meaning rep quality & strict control are focused on, more than momentum and high reps which only lead to
hypertrophy(Muscle building only)
When these steps are carried out to their conclusion, should an athlete wish to add weights obviously this is possible.
However, a athlete comes to the realisation, that the trade off between functionality, speed, agility, strength & power, vs hypertrophy, just for added muscle alone, is only useful If bodybuilding for competitive purposes is the end goal.
For swift, survival speed ankles,
Powerful pillars of functional calves...
The steps in this course provide you with the best calves in any field of sports,
or athleticism where feet, calve, ankle and knee strength, resilience & hyper-functionality are of paramount importance...
Whether its MMA or Ballet.
Calisthenics calves of ultra-functionality & over-resilient strength will make you elite in any field, with an elite foundation above and beyond the uncommon.
With muscle building, the calves must be constantly worked with external weight to maintain muscle...
as a result of that over-reliance on external weight.
But, with calisthenics strength building they are solidified deeper than just the level of muscle alone, which is why the strength is built so ferociously fast.
Throw your calves, knees, feet & ankle strength into the crucible furnace of fire & flame, beyond their bounds...
and inevitably emerge elite.
These 10 steps cover the entire spectrum of only the finest possible calve strengthening exercises, carefully curated for those athletes...
Who not only...
WANT to be the best...
But NEED to be...
Building calves capable of elite endurance,
projecting brutal strikes,
shocks & shattering forces,
calves which can be burdened far beyond the norm,
and subjected to spartan severity.
Craft masterpiece calves of extreme efficiency.
Which greatly enhance the abilities of any able bodied athlete.
For some reason modern western methods have become watered down, only relegated to machine variety exercises which do not produce the same results when it comes to functionality.
Because...
We confuse
"Modern" with "Effective"
and
"Primitive" with "Ineffective"
We would rather fit in with exercises that manage barely mediocre results,
than stand out with extremely effective exercises.
Should you find yourself needing...
More power in your strikes for your next MMA fight,
Should you become aware.
of a need for more explosive power for your kicks on the football pitch,
Or find yourself falling behind in ballet class.
If you need complete confidence in your calves,
Only the most refined.
Only the most effective.
Only the most elite exercises...
This is for you.
