The bar is a bastion of equality, and will make a warrior of any brave enough, to commit their character to its practice, its timeless schooling of strength... This is the art of the one arm pullup.

Three sections...A single goal
1. Theory
Before we jump into the practical sections of this course its important to begin with theory, a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding to assist in sling-shotting us into the exercises which follow.
In ancient Greece...
Introduced into the olympic games in 648 BC was "Pankration" which was an empty-handed
submission sport with very few rules.
The word "Pankration" comes from the greek "Pan" meaning "All"
and "Kratos" meaning "Power" , literally it translates to "All power".
Essentially it was greek MMA.
Notable athletes, to name a few, include:
Arrichion.
Theogenes.
or Dioxippus, whos fame and skill were so elevated that he was crowned olympic champion by default in 336 BC when no other Pankrationist dared meet him on the field.
The feats of the ancient pankratiasts became legendary in the annals of Greek athletics. Stories abound of past champions who were considered invincible beings.
However, pankration was more than just an event in the athletic competitions of the ancient Greek world; it was also part of the arsenal of Greek soldiers – including the famous Spartan hoplites and Alexander the Great's Macedonian phalanx. It is said that the Spartans at the Battle of Thermopylae fought with their bare hands and teeth once their swords and spears broke.
Herodotus mentions that in the battle of Mycale between the Greeks and the Persians in 479 BC, those of the Greeks who fought best were the Athenians, and the Athenian who fought best was a distinguished pankratiast, Hermolycus, son of Euthynus.
Polyaemus describes King Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great, practicing with another pankratiast while his soldiers watched...
There are many more athletes and legendary stories of these fighters.
Besides the martial arts these elite athletes practised, and in addition to them, was a solid foundation of calisthenics.
Much like modern day MMA fighting comes from ancient pankration olympic competition, so too is weightlifting essentially a derivative of calisthenics.
The ancient greeks believed in maximising the use of the body and using the body itself to develop endless strength.
One thing these fighters all had in common was the understanding that the body should be used as a tool of strength, for itself.
In this theory section we lay the foundations of the knowledge and principles of strength required to excel beyond your limits, to obtain physical self mastery, on the journey of the one arm pullup.
Allow us to light an incendiary of motivation within you,
alongside an ardent ambition to see this training series to the final step on its journey to unleash your inner potential.
2. Practical
Ok enough theory, what good is a castle in the air, unless it can be towed to the ground.
Since time began, our ancestors fought, hunted & adapted to the harsh demands of natures restless requirements to survive.
The will and resolve is inherent in every person alive, to achieve physical goals.
The determination to develop survival strength is pre-programmed into us.
Undeniably handed down to us by our ancestors who ensured we would live by their actions.
Here are the steps, when practised routinely, at your own pace, deliver the one arm pullup to you, and you to it.
Ask yourself...
How many people do you know have achieved this feat.
Each step has 3 levels.
So progress is assured & results are inevitable.
10 Steps.
Unlimited Potential.
No excuses.
3. Extras
All the exercises in the world,
Will get you nowhere,
If they remain undone.
In this section we cover human behaviour, getting into a flow and how habits are formed, built & maintained.
How to set up a routine, with methods of linking previously established habits to new ones.
In this modern age, a person can come up with an entire mental ecology of excuses on why they cannot.
Very few can focus on the trees which reach above the canopy of these excuses.
Starve your excuses of their sad dis-empowering existence & rise above their delusive lullabies, supplanting positive self talk instead.
Undo the Gordian knot of mental detention & rise above procrastinations boring grip.
A successful man was once asked...
How it was that he could accomplish so much more than other men,
He replied...
"I dont do more than other people but less than them,
they do their work 3 times over,
Once in anticipation,
Once in actuality,
Once in rumination,
I do mine in actuality alone,
Doing it only once instead of three times"
