This phrase reminds me of a conversation I had with a former trainer of mine,
He told me "One of the major obstacles in peoples way is either, lack of self belief or limiting beliefs", he continued "when people see a person doing movements like the back bridge and advanced calisthenics moves, they automatically resign themselves to its achievement, but secretly they dream & imagine, being able to do it"
They view the achievement of these physical movements through a pinhole perspective,
Much like social media posts, only seeing the end result, they presume the person could always do this.
This perspective is a distorted disillusion and is not in line with reality.
He went on
"Most of the time they do not rationally consider how the movement is achieved stage by stage, degree by degree"
